Back in Action

First of all I'd like to thank all of you who have read my blog. I apologize for not posting lately but it's been a crazy past couple of days, but don't worry, I'll get you all caught up.

Jackson Hole, WY/Yellowstone National Park

We first took a trip up to two beautiful places. We went to Jackson Hole, WY and then Visited the Yellowstone National Park. It was a blast! We took our camera of course and had a lot of fun capturing the gorgeous scenery. However, the best part was to get out and spend quality time with the fam. It's been so fun these past couple of days.

Famous Antler's Arch

Gift Shop.  Sherlock gifts.

A Look from a store's balcony. Beautiful place.

Of course, we had to take a groupie.

Funny sign.

Having fun with the statues.

My new pal that I found.

Bart and our hero.

My wife's favorite picture.

Fun place where they had a theater.

Those are all silver dollars on the bar.

My wife complained because she was ID'd.  Those weasels....ha.

Mom having fun.

Beautiful mountains.  This is what we will miss about this area.

Jenny Lake

This is my wife practicing her photography skills.

Another great view of the mountains.

We got there just in Time.

Picture taken by my wife.

Hot bath anyone?

Picture time with the sign.

This guy was close enough to take a picture. Look at him...just "chillin'."

On our way to more cool places.

Cute.

The sky was beautiful.

Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE Exam, Civil)

The fun was finally over and I knew a had a big test to take, the FE exam, so I tried to study during our Jackson Trip. This is an exam that all Civil Engineers must take in order to be a licensed engineer.  It covers all of the material that you learned as an undergrad and it takes about 5 1/2 hours. So it was a big deal. I studied for weeks and prayed for hours and the day finally came on July 2nd. I was nervous, but I knew that I had worked hard and I was going to do my best.

Took the test, and it was now time to wait.

Meanwhile, we celebrated by going to Big Jud's with some friends. This is a famous burger spot that almost in the northeast knows about it; it has 1,2 and 3 lbs burgers, yummy.

Waiting for the 2 pounder!

Fun time with great friends.

There it is!

I tried.

If you haven't been here, I recommend it.

4th of July Weekend/Mini Family Reunion

We then had a mini family reunion where we had some family come from Hawaii, which I was able to meet for the first time. We ate laughed, and watched the fireworks. We tried taking pictures with our camera, but we're not as good as my uncle Brent. Anyway, here are some pictures of our reunion.

The whole fam waiting for the fireworks.
Fireworks!

One more.

We then spent some time at Granpa and Grandma Lindsay and went shooting while the girls did some crafting.

Heads up!

Groupie while riding Granpa Lindsay's tractor.

There's the man.

Thanks again for checking my blog.  I will make a separate post and put some pictures of our hike, the World Cup, and a field trip from one of my classes.
